After the meeting this morning I decided to look into showing the home location of items instead of the current location in the OPAC detail display. The idea was that patrons wanted to know if their library even owned the book, information the OPAC did not display, favoring instead the current location of the items.

Please see http://nekls.test.kohalibrary.com/cgi-bin/koha/opac-detail.pl?biblionumber=47833 as an example of what I am talking about. The first column here now shows the HOME location of the items, instead of the current location, mimicking the staff client in this display.

This is on the test server, so no worries if you don’t like it, it can go away.

Several of you have noticed that the automatic generation of the date of acquisition and barcode are no longer working when you go to add item information. This is a new bug in Koha (bug #2919), and has been reported. We will continue to work with LibLime to resolve the issue.
