Those pesky script timeouts — how to avoid them!

There are a few places in Koha where you might occasionally get a script time out error:

Patron Reading History
Purchase Suggestions
Patrons with *lots* of checkouts (over 100)
Certain search terms

These problems are annoying, certainly. Fortunately, it’s easy enough to fix right at your desk.

in Firefox, type about:config into the address bar
type dom.max_script_run_time into the filter box

Known Issue: Prevent Firefox from storing form entries

Have you scanned one patron card only to have a different patron appear on your screen?  Follow these steps to prevent Firefox from storing form entries and put an end to that unwanted behavior.
If you don’t want Firefox to remember what you’ve entered into form fields, you can turn off the auto form fill feature:
