Automatic Debarments
Hello folks,
Some of you have recently experienced a feature of Koha – the automatic debarment feature after 3 overdue notices have been sent to a patron. This is a system preference setting that can be turned off, if you so chose. If a patron has reached the 3 overdue notice limit and is automatically debarred, a staff member must lift the debarment on a case by case basis. We can discuss an enhancement that would automatically lift this kind of debarment when the item that triggered the 3rd overdue notice is returned.
